Lodging in the Marathon & Middle Keys area
Stay close to the water so sunrise paddles and sunset tours are easy. Marathon (MM ~47–50) is a practical hub for day trips toward Big Pine, Key Largo, or Key West.
Where to look
- Marathon / Key Colony Beach—condos, small resorts, and vacation rentals with boat-friendly parking.
- Grassy Key / Coco Plum—quieter neighborhoods, often with canal or bay access.
- Big Pine & Lower Keys—if you are paddling Coupon Bight or Looe Key on your itinerary.
